What is Portable Hermes Agent?

Portable Hermes Agent is a portable Windows desktop for running an AI agent, built on NousResearch's MIT-licensed hermes-agent. It has a dark-themed chat GUI with session management, image attachments for vision models, and English and Chinese interfaces. It ships 100 tools across 20+ toolsets: LM Studio model management, text-to-speech with voice cloning, music generation, ComfyUI image generation, multi-step scheduled workflows, and a Tool Maker that creates new API or Python tools at runtime. A guided mode works even with no AI model connected, and a permissions panel controls file, network and system access. Extract the zip and run it; nothing gets installed. MIT licensed.
