Comments and Reviews
On a recent photo shoot I gave Polarr a real try since I was not satisfied with what RawTherapee and Darktable produced. I was very surprised how easy it was to develop really nice images. To be honest, if I've spent more time in RawTherapee and Darktable, maybe I would have gotten the same result, but it would take a lot more time. That said, it's not perfect. I do not fully grasp the Highlights, Whites, Shadows and Blacks knobs. Fine tuning the absolute whitest/darkest parts to recover highlights and shadows seems to not be possible. It looks like those knobs affects a wider range than I was searching for. However, that could very well be me misunderstanding something. And it seems like Polarr is actively developed, so maybe we are going to see improvements in the future.
Excellent performance, unmatched for rescue to fine-tuning of image.
Doesn't appear to do file management or support RAW under the windows version
Really sleek and easy to use. Love the "Feeling lucky" feature. And the lookbook is a fun feature as well.
