   Open source with multiple active contributors means it's likely to continue working even if original support is dropped as others will pick up the work and it also means you get to see everything that's built in gui the app enhancing privacy.

   It is not user friendly and none of the Podcasts that I subscribe to in Podcast addict on my android (such as TWIT) were available directly from the application. I had to go to the TWIT site to listen.
