What is Pocket Screen?
Pocket Screen is a lightweight macOS menu bar utility that turns the current frontmost window into a small always-on-top picture-in-picture reference view.
Keep a browser, document, video, dashboard, chat window, or other supported app visible while working somewhere else. The floating preview can be moved and resized, making it useful for referencing documents, monitoring live information, following tutorials, or watching content without repeatedly switching windows.
Pocket Screen uses macOS ScreenCaptureKit to mirror the selected window continuously. A configurable global keyboard shortcut lets you start or stop the preview without interrupting your workflow.
The captured window content is displayed locally on the Mac and is not uploaded to external servers. Pocket Screen requires Screen Recording permission to create the live preview.
