What is Placide Network Tools?

Regular IP scanners stop at "port 102 is open". NETWORK TOOLS asks the device what it is: CPU reference, firmware version, station name.

  • Six industrial protocols: S7comm, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, BACnet/IP, SNMP
  • Finds devices that don't answer ping (eight TCP probes)
  • Four-state port detection: tells closed from filtered
  • 67,000 built-in vendor prefixes (Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff, WAGO, Phoenix Contact, Moxa...)
  • Read-only: never writes to a device program or operating mode
  • Active Directory browser: groups, nesting, local administrators
  • CSV export and clipboard
  • Windows, no administrator rights required, nothing to install on scanned devices

Perpetual licence: 69 CHF per machine. No subscription.
