What is PingMon?

Most monitors only tell you one thing: up or down. PingMon goes further.

It checks your APIs, websites and cron jobs every 1–60 minutes — and it also catches anomalies when the status still says 200 OK (a response that's suddenly far larger, or much slower than its own baseline). When something breaks, an AI reads the actual error and tells you what broke and where — not just „503". When it recovers, the recovery message carries the likely cause too.

Honest about the AI: PingMon detects anomalies statistically, from each endpoint's own history. The AI doesn't do the detecting — it explains the result in plain language. No black box.

What you get:

  • Uptime & response-time monitoring for APIs and websites
  • SSL certificate expiry alerts (30 / 14 / 7 / 1 days ahead)
  • Domain expiry monitoring via WHOIS — most monitors don't do this at all
  • Heartbeat monitoring for cron jobs
  • Response anomaly detection — problems behind a 200 OK
  • AI alert analysis — what broke, in plain words
  • A weekly email report of your week („Spotify Wrapped for your APIs")
  • Public status pages (share a link, no login)
  • An embeddable trust badge with verifiable, real uptime
  • Alerts via Email, Telegram, Slack, Discord and Webhook, with quiet hours

Why people switch

  • It's simple. Monitoring tools have become so bloated you'd practically need a degree to set them up. PingMon is the opposite — add a monitor in under a minute.
  • It's fair. The free tier is genuinely usable, including for commercial projects.
  • It's European. Hosted in the EU, GDPR-compliant, built by one person — not VC-funded, not for sale.
  • Pricing starts at €12/month (20 monitors, AI alerts, SSL & domain checks). There's a free plan and a 14-day
  • Pro trial without a credit card.

PingMon is a clean, affordable alternative to UptimeRobot, Better Stack, Pingdom, Checkly, Uptime Kuma and Freshping.
