What is PHORM?

PHORM converts a photo into a print-ready 3D file (STL or 3MF) for desktop FDM printers, with a focus on Bambu Lab machines.

Upload a photo of an object, a pet or a person — or create a reference image in the app. The pipeline generates the mesh, repairs the geometry (closes holes, fixes non-manifold edges, corrects wall thickness) and runs a printability check before charging for a model. The 3MF opens directly in Bambu Studio and prints without manual cleanup.

In the editor you can engrave text or a logo and set the physical size. On higher plans you can split the model into colour regions sampled from the photo, or paint parts by hand, for multi-material (AMS) printing. You can also repair your own STL, GLB and 3MF files.

The gap PHORM closes is between a good-looking AI mesh and a file that survives an actual printer.
