What is Phonotheca?
Phonotheca is a hosted workspace for people who run repeated interview programmes. Upload audio, get speaker-labeled transcripts you can correct in place, and keep everything in one searchable corpus with tagging, cited quote export, and REFI-QDA export into NVivo, ATLAS.ti, MAXQDA and Dedoose. Plans are metered by audio hour rather than by file count, and the free tier keeps the archive, search and export working permanently. Application, storage and speech-to-text all run in the EU on every plan, with a published sub-processor list and a DPA signed without a sales call.
