PearPetal is a cycle and fertility tracker that keeps your log on your own devices and lets a partner see exactly the part you choose. There is no account and no server.
The private trackers that get recommended are local-only, which is how they earn their privacy and also why none of them sync or support sharing. PearPetal keeps the same guarantee and adds both. Your log replicates across the phones you own, and predictions are worked out on the device from your own history.
Partner sharing is scoped and revocable. You choose whether they see your cycle phase only, your fertile window, or your full cycle, and you can end it at any time. The boundary is built in rather than promised. Your private log and each partner share are separate, separately encrypted stores, and a partner is never given the key to the private log, so they cannot read past their slice, edit it or re-share it.
Other trackers ask you to trust a privacy policy, which is a statement about the company holding your data, and companies get sold. There is no copy of your cycle here for anyone to sell, lose or change the terms on. There is nothing to acquire.
It tracks period start and flow, symptoms, mood, notes and basal body temperature, on a petal dial that opens and closes through your cycle alongside a month calendar. Goals tune the guidance, covering general tracking, trying to conceive, avoiding and a dedicated pregnancy mode. Entering conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis or thyroid, or a birth control method, adjusts the predictions. Reminders are local and can be worded discreetly on a lock screen. Backups export as an optionally password-encrypted file and are never uploaded.
Predictions are estimates for personal tracking. They are not medical advice, not a diagnosis and not a contraceptive method.
