What is PanelOrca?

PanelOrca is a SketchUp extension for cabinet and furniture makers. You design in SketchUp and manufacture from the same model.

Cabinets are parametric: change a width, height or depth and the carcass, drawers, doors, shelves and legs rebuild. Dowels, cams, hinges, runners and shelf pins are placed from rules you can edit, and edge banding is set per edge, with cut sizes adjusted for tape thickness.

It has a built-in nesting and cut optimizer (grain-aware, curved parts nested as their real shape), cut lists, labels with QR codes and assembly sheets. Machine files go straight to Biesse (CIX), Homag (woodWOP MPR), SCM (XXL), KDT (XML), Nanxing and any G-code router, plus DXF and a cut-list CSV for panel saws.

Requires SketchUp 2024 or newer on Windows or macOS and a free PanelOrca account. Free plan; paid plans from $69/month.
