PacketCheck is described as 'GL's PacketCheck™- is a PC based Ethernet test tool that is designed to check frame transport'. There are four alternatives to PacketCheck for a variety of platforms, including Linux, Windows, Mac, Docker and FreeBSD. The best alternative is iPerf3, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like PacketCheck are JPerf (Free, Open Source), OpenSpeedTest-Server (Free) and pingb (Free, Open Source).
