What is OsmAPP?

OsmAPP is an application for the OpenStreetMap ecosystem with a user-friendly interface like Google Maps. It features clickable points of interest and editing capabilities, using technologies such as React, Next.js, and Maplibre GL.

Features include a clickable map highlighting points of interest, cities, and ponds, with more features to come. There's a feature panel displaying presets and fields from the iD editor, including images from various sources. It also provides public transport information, a runway table for airports, and socket types for electric vehicle charging stations.

Users can save changes with their OpenStreetMap login, and anonymous users can insert notes. The app includes an opening hours editor and a search engine powered by Photon. It features vector maps with a 3D tilting option, a layer switcher, mobile compatibility using PWA technology, and supports multiple languages. Users can create points of interest by clicking coordinates and undo accidental deletions.
