What is OrgChartBuilder?

OrgChartBuilder is org chart software for HR and people-ops teams that care where their employee data goes.

Export a CSV from Workday, BambooHR or any spreadsheet and drop it in. It auto-detects common columns, you confirm the mapping once, and next month's re-import is one click. Vacant roles, shared roles and interim appointments are first-class, so the chart shows the organisation as it really is, gaps included.

Every plan, including free, uses zero-knowledge end-to-end encryption. Your passphrase derives a key in the browser with Argon2id, and chart data is encrypted with XChaCha20-Poly1305 before it is uploaded. The server stores only encrypted bytes and cannot read names, titles, salaries or even the chart's structure. Share links carry the decryption key in the URL fragment, which browsers never send to the server.

Paid plans add scenario modelling: draft a restructure privately, compare it side by side with the live chart, and see affected headcount and redundancy cost. Exports include multi-page PDF, SVG and CSV.
