What is Organteq?
Organteq is a physically modelled virtual pipe organ developed by Modartt, a French company also known for Pianoteq. Unlike sample-based virtual organs, Organteq generates sound in real time using a physical model that simulates the acoustic behaviour of flue and reed pipes, including attack transients, wind interactions, and mechanical action noises. The software offers over 4000 modelled pipes inspired by French Romantic and German Baroque organ building traditions (Cavaillé-Coll, Silbermann, Tröst, and others). It features three manual keyboards, a 32-note pedal keyboard, 68 organ stops, configurable expression pedals, combination memory, and individual pipe voicing. Organteq works as a standalone application or as a plugin (VST, AU, AAX) within any DAW.
