OpenShuttle is a free and open source desktop app to run badminton club tournaments, fully offline on a single computer. It is made for the many club tournaments that are not run on federation software: internal, friendly or end-of-season tournaments.
Before the day, you register entrants (CSV import and export), build the format freely with pools, main and consolation brackets and full placement rounds, and save it as a reusable preset.
On the day, you check players in with one click, draw the pools with seeds while keeping club mates apart, and plan a schedule across the courts that takes rest times into account. The control desk calls matches, records scores, handles late matches and forfeits, and a second screen in the hall shows players where to go, readable from a distance.
Afterwards, you get pool and bracket standings, the full final ranking, and an export of the results.
Two categories can be played at the same time on shared courts. Every action is recorded and can be undone, and an automatic backup protects against power cuts. No account, no cloud: your data stays on your computer. Available in English and French.
