What is Open Reports?

Open Reports is a self-hosted report designer and rendering engine. Design invoices, receipts, statements, grouped reports, crosstabs, labels and printer layouts in a browser, or embed the designer in your application. Render PDF and HTML, export Word, Excel and CSV, and generate ZPL or ESC/POS for printers. Report definitions are JSON; host applications can store them and send the definition with data to the API. Includes a partial JRXML importer that creates reviewable drafts; it does not execute compiled .jasper files and is not a drop-in JasperReports replacement.
