OOMU is a free AI workstation for Apple Silicon Macs. Chat with local AI models, analyze documents, and turn everyday tasks into repeatable workflows. Use it for personal projects, client work, or across your business.

Describe what you want done in plain language. OOMU builds a plan you can review, runs the approved steps, and keeps a record of what happened.

• Private, local AI. Run models on your Mac and work offline once your models are installed. Local inference requires no cloud API key and carries no per-token fees.

• Automatic local and cloud routing. When you enable cloud models, OOMU can route individual turns between local and cloud inference within the same conversation. Keep everyday work local and use additional cloud capability when needed.

• Work with your documents. Summarize files, find relevant information, and draft reports or responses using your own source material.

• Agents and visual workflows. Build assistants for specific jobs and turn recurring tasks into reusable workflows.

• Native Mac integration. Work with Apple apps such as Mail, Calendar, Notes, and Reminders through permission-controlled actions.

• Extend it for your work. Connect tools through Model Context Protocol (MCP) and add capabilities through OOMU’s Mod architecture.

• Stay in control. Review plans, approve sensitive actions, and inspect the history of each run.

OOMU is free forever, including commercial use. No account or credit card is required. Optional cloud models use your own API credentials and may incur provider charges.
