What is OneStar?

OneStar reads the reviews of any app or game on the App Store, Google Play or Steam and turns them into one report: what users love, what they complain about, why they say they are leaving, and what they ask you to build. It works on your own app and on any competitor's, so you can see where a rival's users are unhappy before you decide what to build next. It is made for indie developers, small studios and product people who know reviews matter but don't have time to read thousands of them.

How it works. Every review gets the same set of questions: is there a complaint, which category is it, does the reviewer say they are leaving, are they asking for a feature. An AI model (Jev, from TypeSafe) answers each question with a probability, and plain code does the counting. Every number in a report opens the reviews behind it. Answers the model is not confident about go into an unsure bucket that is shown in the report, so you can check them yourself.

Reports. Complaint and praise shares, how much each theme drags the star rating, trends over time and by app version, feature requests, and splits by audience. Up to 20 App Store countries per report. You can also upload a CSV of reviews from another source.

Compare. Put up to four apps side by side on one set of categories and see where each one loses its users.

Track your own app. Connect App Store Connect or Google Play Console (beta) to read your own reviews straight from the store. Get alerts on rating drops, review spikes and review bombs, a weekly email digest, and Slack notifications. Reply to App Store and Google Play reviews from one inbox with saved replies.

Ask. Type a question, like "do people mention the new paywall?", and get the reviews that answer it.

Privacy. Reviewer names are never read, and only short excerpts are stored.

Pricing. The free plan includes 3 reports a month of up to 500 reviews each, with no card. Pro is $19 a month and adds comparisons, tracking, store connections, replies, Ask and CSV export. Anyone can read a shared report without an account.
