my absolute favorite app! it is so calming and helps me be focused + mindful while writing.
Beautiful editor for writers, but no PayPal payment offered, only credit card, so I can't buy a license. No version for GNU/Linux available, only Mac and Windows.
When I heard about Omm Writer I was very excited to visit its download site. And what I found was that the Developers recommended trying the free version first, see how you like it before investing in the paid version - which has added features in all its components.
This was my first 'positive' experience in distraction-free writers which lead me to find others. I was impressed but there are others which I personally prefer. Nonetheless it has some lovely features, nice music and choices of backgrounds, typing sounds though my comment is on the 'Free' version so I can't say much about the full program.
I would suggest to give it a try as we each have our preferable writers of which I use about three - just for variety - and see how you get on with it.
