nomatch
A map-based social app for photo-verified van lifers, RV travelers and digital nomads. It shows nearby members and their current activity tags, supports travel plans, shares contacts only after mutual interest, and makes dating opt-in rather than the default.

nomatch information
What is nomatch?
nomatch is a companion app for people who live on the road: van lifers, RV travelers and digital nomads. Everyone on it is a nomad, so the membership itself is the filter.
Open the map and you see verified nomads parked near you right now, each with tags for what they are up for today: coffee, hike, cowork, dog walk, drinks, climb, surf, jam, talk books, van help, park nearby. Tap someone, read their profile, and press "i'm interested". If they press it back, you exchange contact details and take it from there.
Most apps in this space solve a different problem. Camping and overlanding apps map places to park. Meetup maps scheduled events in cities you are not in. General friend-finding apps match on interests and ignore that you leave in three days. nomatch maps people who are near you now and says what they are free for today.
Travel plans are part of it. Set where you are headed and when, and you show up to nomads already there before you arrive.
Every member is photo verified before they appear on the map, with a real selfie and real vehicle photos checked against their profile. Unverified accounts cannot see the map at all. Contact details are shared only when interest is mutual. Your position is shown as an approximate area rather than an exact point, and distances are rounded.
There is no in-app chat, on purpose. Nobody can message you uninvited. When two people are both interested, they swap the contact method they chose and the conversation happens wherever they already talk.
Friends is the default. Dating exists as an opt-in setting and is off unless you turn it on.
There is an Apple Watch app that shows nearby nomads, filters by activity, and lets you express interest from your wrist.
Free to use. nomatch+ is an optional subscription that adds unlimited activity tags instead of three, all incoming interests instead of the first one, and alerts when a nomad arrives nearby.
It does not have in-app chat, group events, campsite listings or trip planning. The interface is English only. There is no iPad, Mac or web version.
