What is Nodeterm?

Nodeterm solves the problem of cluttered terminal tabs by turning terminals and AI coding agents into a visual map. Instead of losing track in stacked tabs, all shells are displayed as freely positionable "nodes" on an infinite canvas.

Key Features:

  • Spatial organization: Arrange, zoom, and group terminals by project using drag and drop.

  • Persistent sessions: All terminals keep running in the background. Even after a computer restart, a dropped SSH connection, or a closed window, the entire session and layout return exactly as you left them (similar to tmux).

  • AI agents as live nodes: Coding agents can be visually linked. Drawing a line between two agents allows them to read each other's context. Badges instantly show when an agent is blocked or requires input (e.g., for permissions).

  • Seamless mobility: Scan a QR code to seamlessly continue an encrypted live session on your smartphone.

  • Voice-to-Text: Built-in local "Whisper" integration allows you to dictate directly into the terminal—voice data never leaves your device.
