What is Nod?

Nod is a bot-free AI notetaker for macOS, built for individuals rather than teams. Instead of joining your call as a visible bot, it listens through your Mac's own audio, so nobody in the meeting sees anything new. After each call it writes a structured recap automatically — topics discussed, decisions made, and action items with owners and due dates — and lets you ask questions across everything you've recorded ("Ask Nod"). It works across Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, and phone calls, in 14 languages. Audio is never stored — only the transcript and summary are kept, encrypted.
