Warning
Modmyi claims NoCyFresh is a dangerous package because it completely replaces Cydia, which may lead to instability. Use at your own risk.
NoCyFresh replaces the standard Cydia launcher of your jailbroken iOS device with an altered version so that you can disable the auto-refresh feature of the store. You can still manually refresh Cydia (Changes->Refresh).
To install NoCyFresh, you must first add the source " http://repo.insanelyi.com " on Cydia (Manage->Sources->Edit->Add).

ModMyi calls NoCyfresh "dangerous" because it completely replaces Cydia. But personally, I found this toggle too tempting to ignore. Normally, Cydia is slower than a snail humping a tortoise. (Excuse my description, but it's true. :P ) However, with NoCyfresh, its speed becomes almost tolerable.
I recently updated Cydia, which caused NoCyfresh to stop working. Because of this, I decided to uninstall NoCyfresh. However, afterwards, Cydia would no longer open.
I fixed this problem by manually reinstalling Cydia with i-Funbox and iFile, which was pretty easy. Nevertheless, it's important to remember that, yes, NoCyfresh IS a potentially dangerous app. Breaking Cydia is no fun.
