Ninth Salon paints your photo the way an old master would have, and keeps the likeness. That last part is the whole point: most tools hand you a beautiful face that belongs to someone else. Here the mole stays, the crooked smile stays, and the person in the frame is still you.

Upload a portrait, choose an era, wait around half a minute. You get a painting you can download in high definition or order as a canvas print.

Ten eras: Renaissance, Dutch Golden Age, Baroque, Belle Epoque, Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, Art Nouveau, Watercolour, Pop Art Screenprint and Cubist.

The first portrait is free and comes as a watermarked preview. After that, credits are a one time purchase from 4.99, they never expire, and there is no subscription. Canvas prints start at 89 dollars, or 79 euros.

The site runs with no cookies, no trackers and no ads. Your photo is never stored on the server: it paints your portrait and is gone. The painting itself is deleted after 90 days if you never buy anything. Interface in English, French and Spanish.
