NextUp Walk-in is a virtual queue for businesses that take walk-ins, such as barbershops, hair and nail salons, tattoo studios, phone repair shops, pet groomers and auto service counters. It replaces the paper sign-in sheet.
Customers scan a QR code at the door or open the shop's link. There is no app to download. They pick a service and, if they want, a specific team member, then see their place in line and an estimated wait that updates live. They get a text message when they're almost up, so they can wait somewhere else instead of in the lobby.
The business gets:
- A waiting-room TV display that shows the line (works in a browser, or with the Apple TV and Roku apps)
- A check-in tablet for the door
