What is Neverwinter Nights 2?

Neverwinter Nights 2 is a role-playing game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published on November 3, 2006 by Atari. It is the sequel to BioWare's Neverwinter Nights, a successful game based on Dungeons & Dragons system. Neverwinter Nights is based on the rules of the third edition of Dungeons & Dragons, Neverwinter Nights 2 but it is in the v3.5 (also known as the 3rd revised edition), except for some changes to adapt to a game in real time.
