What is Neverkin?
Neverkin is a free and open-source webapp aimed at different kind of writers and storytellers that have large stories or worlds to keep track of. It includes a wide range of features and it keeps evolving. For example, Neverkin provides:
- Visual timeline for places events on your world's own calendar
- Support for actors, tags and wiki articles
- Real-time collaboration
- Full cross-linking with @mentions for easy browsing
- Support for fully custom fantasy calendars
- Rich text editing across all entities
- Integrated MCP server for LLM tools to use it as a knowledge database
All of those things are synced with collaborators in the same project in real-time while enforcing access control. By default, all projects are private unless explicitly shared.
Neverkin is a hobby project, not a commercial product, and as such it does not include any tracking, ads or monetization at all. It's free to use, includes one-click guest login to try and is fully open-source.
