Nectabl

Nectabl is accounts payable automation software. It turns receipts, supplier invoices and bank statements into checked data, and sends approved bills to Xero. MYOB is coming soon.

Upload scans, PDFs or Excel invoices, or forward them by email. Nectabl reads every line item, then checks its own work:

• Nectabl checks that the line items add up to the total, to the cent.
• Nectabl checks the GST on each line, even when a receipt mixes taxable and GST-free items.
• Nectabl checks that the supplier's ABN is real and active.
• Nectabl warns you when the same bill is uploaded twice, or is already in Xero.
• Nectabl warns you when the bank details on a bill are different from the supplier's saved details, which is a common sign of invoice fraud.

Each number is shown next to the original page, so a reviewer can check it quickly. When something is wrong, Nectabl offers a one-click fix using only figures that come from the document itself, never a guess.

A person approves each bill before anything is sent. Approved bills go to Xero as a draft, a bill awaiting approval, or an approved bill, with the supplier, account and GST code on each line, and the original document attached. You can also send approved bills automatically, or download them as Excel, CSV or JSON for any other accounting software.

Nectabl is built for bookkeepers and practices that manage several businesses. Each plan connects one or more Xero businesses, and a team can work in the same account. Nectabl also works in Simplified Chinese and Spanish.

Nectabl stores documents in Australia and deletes uploaded files after 30 days. Pricing is by the page, from A$59 a month, with a free plan of 20 pages a month and a 30-day free trial.
