What is Mythora?
Mythora is an AI-powered text adventure RPG built around shared, persistent living worlds. Players type actions in free text, an AI narrator resolves the consequences, and the world permanently remembers what happened.
What separates it from solo AI story generators:
World persistence — consequences are stored as world state (relationships, faction standing, events attached to places) rather than as a transcript that scrolls out of context, so a choice made early can resurface many sessions later.
NPC long-term memory — characters carry grudges, debts, oaths and favours forward across sessions without the player maintaining a lorebook or world-info entries.
Shared worlds — multiple real players inhabit the same world, so one player's actions leave permanent traces that others can encounter.
The world runs while you are away — simulation ticks advance factions, economies and conflicts between sessions.
Character creation with consequences — faction and destiny choices made at creation become the baseline for every later narration.
Free to start with daily refilling action energy called seeds; optional seed packs and subscriptions. Official worlds span high fantasy, cultivation (xianxia), cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic survival, cozy mystery, academy and dungeon-climb genres, and players can also create their own world from a seed. Available on the web and as an iOS app, with the interface in English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish and Portuguese.
