It makes it easy to turn my computer into a proxy to check if it's connecting to malicious sites. I personally love the logging feature, which when monitoring the log file allows a user to see every ip and port their device is connecting to in real-time.
I tested this program with 2 wifi adapter or with one. this program have serious bug, not work. And lot of people talking about not working program. its time waste
First I tried Connectify, it works well but the freemium version turn off the connetion every 30 mins. Then I tried myPersonal wifi, unfortunately also if my mobile phone is connected to the network no data are transferred from internet. So I switched to OSToto Hotspot that seems to work for now.
The worst application ever programmed by stupid developer.
I have tested many software that for same purpose and find this one is the best for this reason.
Great tool but unfortunately useless for me. While detected my Tplink wn722n, there was a red x besides the drop down menu. Although peer connections running smoothly but not the internet connection and the client does not appear. I have tried several virtual access point software and the best is (sorry) Connectify. Connectify, all connections running smootly but simple gui & lack of additional firewall.
MyPublicWifi works i just connected my laptop, my cellphone and my kindle so it works in windows 7 64x it creates a secure network, the only problem i can see if it doesnt update the connected clients, but that can be ignored
