What is MyNetDiary?

MyNetDiary is a calorie counter and nutrition tracking app for iOS, Android, Apple Watch, Wear OS, and the web, first launched in 2007. Its food database of more than 2 million items is staff-verified rather than user-submitted: entries are built on the USDA and NCC research-grade databases plus verified manufacturer data, with 2,500–3,500 foods reviewed and updated daily. Each entry tracks up to 108 nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and omega fatty acids — a level of nutrient completeness aimed at people who track more than calories and macros.

The free tier includes barcode scanning, food and exercise logging, full macro and nutrient tracking, a water tracker, a shopping list, and community access, with no ads and no account required to start. Food logging also works offline.

Premium adds structured diet plans, 600+ dietitian-designed recipes, intermittent fasting, blood glucose and medication tracking, Meal Scan photo logging, and GLP-1 Companion: medication and dose reminders, protein-focused targets, and side-effect tracking for people on GLP-1 medications. Premium Plus adds AI Coach, AI Restaurant Menu Scan, AI Voice Logging, and AI Suggest Meals. Advanced AutoPilot adjusts calorie and macro targets automatically from logged weight trends, and Professional Connect lets dietitians and trainers monitor clients' food diaries at no cost to the practitioner.
