Musika is a free internet radio app for Android, built around one idea: open it, find a station, listen.
Search tens of thousands of stations by name, or browse by genre, country and language. Save favourites and arrange them by hand or alphabetically, revisit recently played stations, and paste in a direct stream URL if the directory has missed a station you want.
It works beyond the phone screen: Android Auto in the car, Chromecast to a speaker or TV, a home screen widget and a Quick Settings tile to start playback without opening the app, plus standard media controls on the lock screen and Bluetooth accessories.
A sleep timer fades the audio out rather than cutting it off, and live track and artist information appears where a station broadcasts it.
Station data comes from radio-browser.info, the community-run worldwide radio directory, so the catalogue keeps growing and anyone can add a missing station.
There are no ads anywhere in the app, no account to create, and no analytics or tracking of listening habits. The free tier holds five favourites and two custom stations; a single one-time purchase removes both limits permanently. There is no subscription.
