There are more than 50 alternatives to Multipass for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Linux, Mac, BSD and Android. The best alternative is VirtualBox, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Multipass are QEMU (Free, Open Source), VMware Workstation Pro (Paid), KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) (Free, Open Source) and VMware Workstation Player (Free Personal).
