Money Converter - Currency converts any amount between more than 180 world currencies and cryptocurrencies at live exchange rates. Open the app, type an amount or a whole calculation like 25+12×3, and every currency on the screen updates as you type. No account, no setup.
How it works
Choose the currencies you want to see, then type an amount: every rate recalculates as you type, and your selection is saved, so the app opens ready the next time. There is nothing to sign up for, the app opens straight on the converter.
Many currencies at once
Keep the currencies you use on one screen and read them all together, each with its flag: no switching back and forth between pairs. Search any currency by name or code, mark your favourites and put them in the order you want.
A calculator in the converter
The keypad works like a calculator: add, subtract, multiply or divide, and the converted result appears in every currency at once. Handy for a bill split abroad, a hotel price for several nights or an invoice in a foreign currency. The keypad also has a key to clear everything and one to delete the last digit, so a typo is fixed in a second.
Works offline
Rates refresh every time you open the app. On a plane or abroad without data, the converter keeps working with the last rates it downloaded.
Historical charts
With an optional in-app purchase, follow any pair on a chart from one day to five years, to spot a better moment to exchange. Ranges go from 1 day, 7 days and 1 month up to 3 and 6 months, then 1, 2 and 5 years.
Cryptocurrencies
Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies sit right alongside traditional money.
On your wrist and in your messages
On iPhone, a Home Screen widget keeps your favourite pair a glance away, the Apple Watch app converts from your wrist, and the iMessage extension converts inside a conversation. Dark mode is supported. On iPad, the same converter runs full screen.
Who it is for
Travellers, online shoppers, freelancers billing abroad, crypto holders, and anyone comparing prices across currencies or following exchange-rate trends. It is just as useful at home, to check what an online order priced in dollars really costs.
