Incredible alternative, works very well. It even saves whiteboard as a local file.

But unfortunately if you like the convenience of auto-saves, or storing the files "inside the app itself" so that next time you can just launch the app & select the thumbnail in a couple of clicks without needing to touch File Explorer (like Miro), you're going to need the Excalidraw+ subscription; which has a pricing that is just overkill for personal/hobbyist use.

The minimalistic online drawing app. It allows you to create visual notes (drawings) and organize them in the nested "drawing inside the drawing" structure for faster lookup. Allows creating fast sketches and visual notes. Exports sketches to PNG, JPG, SVG, and WEBP.
