What is Meta Converter?

Meta Converter is a Windows desktop application for converting and compressing AI-generated images while preserving generation metadata. It converts PNG and WebP files to JPEG, PNG or WebP in batches and keeps metadata compatible with Automatic1111 WebUI, ComfyUI and NovelAI workflows.

For ComfyUI JPEG output, workflows are saved as separate JSON files. For NovelAI JPEG output, a companion metadata file is created. The application also provides quality and resize controls, Eagle library conversion and a command-line interface.

All processing runs locally on the CPU and no GPU is required.
