MEFA

MEFA is a program that can be used for writing, printing and playing music. The MEFA program is very easy to use and the music can be written in a fast way. The notation is presented above the text window.

The MEFA program can print music notation, play music and search the database.

Additional features in the program are:

Finger grips for CF / GC / DG diatonic accordeons and concertinas. The finger grips are shown as System International (most used) method and Groesbeek. The user can create his own fingering chart. Finger grips for tin whistles (C, D and B flat) and guitar chords. Transpose music. Simple calculation of chords, if those are missing. Sending Email with musical notation as PDF, MIDI and ABC text files. Creating HTML files with abc text, midi and pdf files. That can be used in websites. Creating music books with selected songs.

Also, a music database can be download in the MEFA program. The MEFA program is the same as ABCedit. But you must install PDF995 driver and abcm2ps and abc2midi by yourself. These files are not included in the SetupMefa.exe file. The Pdf files will be presented in Acobat reader. The mefa program has a default setting for version 9, but this can be changed in the options menu. Ctrl-O
