What is mcptask.online?

mcptask.online is task management for people and autonomous AI developers, built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). You write small, well-defined tasks with acceptance criteria. The mcptask runner – a single binary installed on your own PC or Mac – picks the next task from the queue (priority first, bugs first, then oldest), lets triage choose the right model, and drives Claude Code, Codex CLI or OpenCode to write code and tests on a branch. It runs unit and system tests, opens a pull request and runs your local CI. In auto-squash mode it merges only after green checks; in manual mode the pull request waits for your review.

  • Runs on your own machine against your real database and tests, not in a vendor cloud sandbox
  • Model-agnostic: Claude, GPT, Gemini, Kimi, DeepSeek or local models
  • Works with GitHub, GitLab (incl. self-managed) and Bitbucket Cloud
  • Real blocker links between tasks, Epics/Stories/Tasks, timesheets, daily AI budget
  • Any MCP client (Claude Desktop, Claude Cowork) reads and writes the same queue

Pricing: Starter $19/month (1 human + 1 AI developer), Professional $14 per user/month. 30-day free trial, no card required.
