Impressive as a general viewer.. but it can't be added as a default. Sort of medium weight, runs a lot heavier than FastStone, but a lot lighter than many others. The filmstrip view is quite good, and there is plenty of option for large thumbnails. Lets you view in window mode while doing the side strip mode, vs FastStone requiring full view for that. Great flexibility in viewing style.

What is Mcomix?
MComix is an user-friendly, customizable image viewer. It is specifically designed to handle comic books, but also serves as a generic viewer. It reads images in ZIP, RAR, 7Zip or tar archives as well as plain image files. It is written in Python and uses GTK+ through the PyGTK bindings, and runs on both Linux and Windows.
MComix is a fork of the Comix project, and aims to add bug fixes and stability improvements after Comix development came to a halt in late 2009.

I'm withholding a star rating because I quickly uninstalled this because it was so much slower to start up than other similar apps. My actual score is 3.5 stars.
Lo probé y me gustó mucho. Tiene todas las funciones que puedes necesitar y más. Aun así, tienen que pulir un poco su versión para Windows (tiene algunos bugs)
i was looking for a manga reader like comix for windows or a comix version for windows, when i found this i was like.. wow! amazing work, exactly like comix with all the good features comix has, what i like more about thi software i the zoom, alo would be amazing if they add a shortcut for zoom in and zoom out in next versions.
