MC Server Manager is a Windows desktop app for creating and running Minecraft servers on hardware you already own. It's built for people who want a server for their friends without learning Docker, Linux or the command line.
It supports Vanilla, Paper, Spigot, Forge, Fabric, NeoForge and Bedrock, and it can link several servers together into a proxy network using Velocity or BungeeCord. When you pick a version it works out which Java runtime that version needs and installs it for you, which removes the single most common reason a first server fails to start.
The app includes a mod and plugin browser for CurseForge and Modrinth, a modpack builder that turns a modded server into a one-click installer you can send to players, a live console with command input, scheduled restarts, automatic backups, Discord webhooks, and real-time CPU, RAM, TPS and MSPT monitoring. A remote web dashboard lets you start, stop and watch a server from a phone or any browser.
Getting players connected is handled two ways. The app can open your server port automatically over UPnP, and for connections behind CGNAT where port forwarding can't work at all, there's an optional paid relay that gives the server a custom address and keeps your home IP hidden from players.
There are two editions. Lite is free and runs up to three servers with 8GB of RAM each, in sessions of up to six hours. Standard is a one-off purchase that removes the session and server limits and adds the remote web dashboard, scheduled restarts, Discord webhooks, automatic backups and proxy networks. Two optional subscriptions sit alongside the app, a relay for players connecting to a home-hosted server, and managed cloud hosting for running a server 24/7 with your PC switched off.
It's made by Natchland, a solo developer in the United Kingdom. It isn't connected to MCSManager, which is a separate open-source web control panel with a similar name.
