What is Markdown Web Clipper?

Markdown Web Clipper is a free, open-source Chrome extension that converts any webpage to clean Markdown — code blocks, tables, math, and footnotes survive intact — and saves it where you keep your notes: a local folder (including an Obsidian vault), GitHub Gist, or the clipboard. Local-first: no account, no cloud, no telemetry. Images are saved alongside the file. Works with any app that reads Markdown files — Obsidian, Logseq, Joplin, Google NotebookLM.
