Manga Viewer

Manga Viewer is a free, native macOS reader for manga and comics, built entirely with SwiftUI. It has no ads, no accounts, and no tracking.

Designed around Japanese manga conventions, it supports right-to-left page turning and automatic single/spread switching: horizontal pages are shown alone, while vertical pages are paired into two-page spreads, so you never have to change a setting mid-book. Front and back covers can each be shown as single pages.

• Folders of images
• Single image files

Images are decoded natively, including WebP, AVIF, and HEIF.

Other features:

• Reading positions are remembered so you can resume where you left off (stored as one-way hashes, and can be disabled)
• A seek bar appears on hover and stays out of the way while you read
• Fully localized in 8 languages: English, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese
• Sandboxed, with no network access except an optional feedback form
