What is makedeb?

makedeb is a packaging tool designed to rework how people package applications for Debian and Ubuntu-based distributions. It focuses on making the packaging process simpler, more enjoyable, and more maintainable.

Key Features:

Simple & Minimalistic: Designed to get out of the user's way with easy-to-read syntax.

It's All Just Bash: The packaging format is a shell script, unlocking the full potential of shell commands inside your packaging setup.

MPR Integration: Works with the Prebuilt-MPR and the Makedeb Package Repository.

Note: The project is currently marked as unmaintained by the original author.
