What is Mailgnificent?
Mailgnificent is a modern, privacy-focused email client built around a simple principle: your mail is yours. It connects to your existing accounts via IMAP/SMTP, Gmail, and Microsoft 365, and merges them into a single unified inbox with cross-account search, smart categories, and a clean reading experience on web and mobile.
Unlike most "smart" mail apps, Mailgnificent is no-content-storage-first. It reads your mail transiently and never keeps message bodies, attachments, or AI-generated text on its servers. AI features are entirely optional and on-demand — thread summaries, reply suggestions, rewriting and translation, send-safety checks, attachment Q&A, and daily briefings — all processed transiently, with nothing logged or persisted.
Everything you'd expect from a serious mail client is built in: rich HTML composing, signatures and templates, scheduled send with undo, drafts and autosave, snooze, mail rules and automation, retention/auto-delete, VIP senders and a gatekeeper, shared inboxes, calendar connections, and lightweight team collaboration. Security is foundational, with envelope encryption, MFA/TOTP, passkeys, and a tamper-evident audit log.
