What is MailAegis?

MailAegis is an email authentication monitoring service for domain owners, IT teams, and email senders. It checks SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and MX records against DNS best practices, scores the overall configuration, and surfaces specific misconfigurations with actionable recommendations.

Subscribers can verify domain ownership to unlock continuous monitoring: MailAegis re-scans domains on a schedule, detects changes in DNS authentication records, and sends email alerts when issues appear.

DMARC aggregate reports can be forwarded to MailAegis via webhook for ingestion and historical storage. Monthly PDF reports summarize a domain's email security posture over the previous period. Agency plan subscribers can generate white-labeled reports across multiple domains.

MailAegis operates at the DNS layer. It does not modify DNS records, send email on behalf of users, or guarantee inbox placement.
