What is mail.com?
mail.com provides its users with an customized selection of unique domains to pair with their desired address at no cost. Users can choose a domain that fits their lifestyle, profession, location, or personality, and through this personalization, their email address will become an expression of who they are, or where they are from. For example USA.com, Europe.com, London.com and Asia.com as well as many other geographically focused domains are available. Users who want an email address to communicate their profession can select from a wide range of professionally focused domains such as Doctor.com, Accountant.com, Engineer.com, and Consultant.com. Every email address is completely free. Note that mail.com does not allow registrations for users from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, you have to use gmx.de/at/ch instead. When registered outside of these countries, accessing the service from the countries is possible.

Comments and Reviews
Never use it unless it is for a simple one-time use. They block and delete user accounts without any warning. The site is completely out of date and even security is questionable. The worst completely crazy mail service ever.
Having a @mail.com email is the best part about this service, other than that the free account is very limited, mostly the lack of pop3/imap support was the deal breaker for me, without this a user cannot retrieve their emails only using their Android client and if you wanted to use say a mail client like Thunderbird on the PC, you can't unless you pay.
In 2022, paying and forcing the payment of $ 30 to have a function that is free for most of the emails seems excessive to me. paying to use email with third party clients is crazy. the beauty is that I used it as the main email for each member of the family and now I have to take all the correspondence elsewhere because I cannot manage 4 emails from the browser.
Crappy slow web site. Inconvenient to log-in. It deleted my free account without notice after not logging in for a year or so.
