What is Galae?
Galae is a secure, interoperable email service focused on delivrability.
It relies totally on free/libre opensource software. Galae is actually a fork of mailcow with extra features targetting production-ready deployment.
The software is available as an online service and as a free self-hostable docker image.
Features include:
- Quota management (sending, storage),
- unlimited domains and mailboxes,
- Standard protocols: IMAP, SMTP, CalDAV, CardDAV protocols,
- SIEVE Filters,
- configurable spam filter,
- wildcard alias, unlimited aliases, catch-all,
- modern full web management console
- REST API
- 2FA authentication, application password
- Modern webmail based on SOGo
- collaborative calendars and address books (including share, resources allocation, delegation)
The entire stack is self-hostable as a docker image.
Like Mailcow: dockerized, Galae relies on Dovecot, Postfix, SOGo, Rspamd and other standard opensource building blocks.
