Mado is an open source terminal multiplexer for macOS and Linux. Split your terminal into panes, switch between projects, and extend it with sidebar plugins — all with a polished, themeable interface.

It ships with 22 built-in themes based on Tailwind CSS palettes, a native browser panel, and a built-in Claude AI panel. The plugin system supports both TUI (PTY/ANSI) and pixel (RGBA frame) plugins, with a growing library including Pomodoro timer, world clock, clipboard manager, project timer, and more.

Pairs with Tasku, a developer task manager with cloud sync.
