What is Lumit?

Lumit is a free, open-source compositing and motion graphics app for Windows, macOS and Linux. It works similarly to After Effects, with a familiar feel, and it can open your .aep projects.

Alongside the layer workspace there's workspaces for nodes, audio, and a NLE, letting you complete entire projects within a single application.

It has over 130 built-in effects and supports OFX plugins, extensions, scripting, and it's own plugin format.

Share and work in projects with up to 16 people simultaneously, seeing each other's changes in realtime, and view what layer, property or timestamp in a composition they are in.
