Luminotes.com has shut down.

Luminotes.com will shut down on March 1, 2010. At that time, you will no longer be able to view or edit any notes hosted at Luminotes.com, and no further releases nor support for any Luminotes products will be available.

The project has been closed down. Now both the online service and the binaries are gone; however, you can still get the source code (in Python) from the official website.

The idea and concept of Luminotes is very useful. But, so that one can work with Luminote also practically well, the inputting, changing and removing of links must be strongly improved. That is presently very difficult: There comes often instead of a link to an available notice, a link to an empty newly designed notice. The retroactive changing of some defective links you can do only through removing of the word(s) with the link and writing the word and the link again.

One could gather all of his ideas into one place and link together related concepts. The target was: as simple to use as index cards.
